Seattle Parks & Recreation #3 30 images Created 18 Dec 2019
In Spring 2019, Seattle Parks & Recreation department hired TIA for its annual Park District Initiative (http://www.seattle.gov/seattle-park-district), similar to the work TIA contributed back in 2017.
TIA, once again, had the terrific opportunity to travel to different sites in Seattle to photograph several subject matters, including multicultural events, recreational activities, board meetings, and park restoration efforts.
The City of Seattle has a determined objective to promote inclusivity in its many neighborhoods, and to emphasize the benefits of physical activity, fitness, and wellness.
Since 2014, TIA is grateful to still be a part of Parks & Recreation's agenda to inform residents about the department's efforts to maintain and sustain the upkeep of the city's community centers, as well as the contributions of volunteers who invest their time to clean, restore, and preserve the natural beauty of the city's hundreds of parks.
