Unbeknownst to TIA at the time, the Calgary photography project coincided with the city's observation of PRIDE. Unlike most cities around the world which schedule their gay pride parades and festivals in early to mid summer, Calgary hosts its PRIDE parade in late summer.
On September 2, 2018, Calgary held its 28th annual PRIDE parade in downtown along Sixth Avenue. It was such a festive, spirited, and colorful spectacle that TIA decided it had to have its own gallery to share with all of you.
