Welcome to Calgary, Alberta, Canada!
This is Canada's fourth largest metropolitan region in population, after Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. For many who wish to visit the majestic Canadian Rocky Mountains, including Banff National Park, Calgary is typically the gateway for that journey.
TIA's objective was to explore the gateway itself, and Calgary surpassed all expectations. It's a scenic, gigantic metropolis with a diverse population of good-natured people who love the great outdoors and all the recreational activities the city offers. Residents clearly love their city as well.
Some may remember that well before Vancouver served as home of the 2010 Winter Olympics, Calgary was the first Canadian city to host the same international sports event back in 1988!
What started off as a western depot at the confluence of the Bow & Elbow Rivers, Calgary has transformed over time into the oil capital of Canada. Second only to Toronto, Calgary also carries the honor of being the headquarters of a majority of Canadian corporations.
So let's not delay! Let's visit Calgary today! TIA is honored to feature this magnificent, underrated gem of a city in its official portfolio.

3 galleriesAerial Photography of Calgary, Alberta, Canada captured in September 2018. TIA collaborates with helicopter pilots to perform aerial photography projects over different cities. We remove the door on the passenger side, and I "hang out" even though I'm safely harnessed. TIA is not in the drone business yet, and prefers to work with pilots. As a result, TIA completely owns both the professional and personal experience of hovering above magnificent cities with photography equipment in tow.
