Hong Kong is my "Number 2" in the Top 2 cities I have most wished to photograph in the world.
Hong Kong was everything I always thought it would be, and so much more. It is cosmopolitan and international. Unabashedly modern, yet historic. Dazzling and daunting, but always mesmerzing.
One could say it's chaotic, but there is a rhythm to the chaos, a method to the madness, and it's a wonderful rhythm to find oneself enraptured.
It was not difficult to fall in love with the city, its people, its food, its architecture, and the international vibe that defines it. Hong Kong is a quintessential world city, without a doubt.

Oh, and my "Number 1" city to photograph? That would be Sydney, Australia.

22 imagesAerial Photography of Hong Kong. TIA collaborates with helicopter pilots to perform aerial photography projects over different cities. We remove the door on the passenger side, and I "hang out" even though I'm safely harnessed. TIA is not in the drone business yet, and prefers to work with pilots. As a result, TIA completely owns both the professional and personal experience of hovering above magnificent cities with photography equipment in tow.
